Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations
This 3-day theory-based course will provide familiarization with the content of the latest requirements for electrical installation (18th edition) and ensure compliance with BS7671:2018.
During this course you will become familiar with key principles of BS7671 including understanding of:

Assessing the general characteristics of electrical installations

Requirements of protection for safety for electrical installations

Requirements for the selection and erection of equipment for electrical installations

Requirements of special installations or locations as identified in BS7671
The Exam
Online 2-hour multiple choice exam on Day 3 (60 questions). Delegates are allowed a clean copy of the regulations book in the exam for reference. Results are published immediately upon completion.

Entry Requirements
Delegates need good working knowledge of electrical installation and scientific principles relating to electrical installation. A Level 3 qualification is recommended with sound Maths and English.
Additional Requirements
Delegates will need to provide their own hard copy of the latest IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018) incorporating the latest amendment 2.
